Welcome to Big Island Sessions!
We are a production studio in Kailua-Kona that offers recording, lessons, and rehearsal spaces for bands and musicians.
BIS was established in 2015 by Anna and Roger Souther as a meeting place for the creative. Initially offering space for art, dance, music and meeting space, BIS has focused its efforts as a well appointed music rehearsal and recording studio. We provide the Big Island with a much needed environment to express and hone your craft offering an air conditioned back-line equipped live room, lounge and recording console. We offer hourly and monthly rates, gear rentals, lessons, production assistance and venue guidance.
Our Services
Not only are we located conveniently in downtown Kailua Kona on the Big Island, our facility is available 24 hours a day. Our isolated live room makes it possible to record no matter what is going on outside.
Our isolation room was designed to provide just that, isolation. Loud db is kept in and out. Well-lit and comfortable, our well-appointed room comes with a PA, acoustic drum kit and a bass rig.
